It is only natural during a time of crisis to ask, "How can I contribute?" And we must each find a way to give that makes sense for us and is meaningful to us. However, even a sincere desire to serve can bring up the issue of, "Am I enough? Is my contribution enough? Am I doing enough?" This ties back in to our sense of self-worth, our ability to appreciate who we are and our sense of interconnectedness to all things.
We don't have to shoulder the burden alone, but we can do our part, both at the surface of life and in the subtle domain. By engaging in a daily meditation practice, we not only benefit ourselves, we effect subtle, yet profound change on a planetary level. It may seem like our contributions are not enough, but they have a profound impact on the whole. Your contribution matters. You matter. You are enough. Keep going. Stay connected. Day by day.
My tiny contribution involves offering virtual yoga classes so that folks can keep their bodies moving and stay healthy and sane during times of isolation and uncertainty. You are most welcome to join me this week for a zoom class on Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, or a donation class on Sunday morning. You can register for all of those at tablehealthtc.com/movement.
Don't want to wait for virtual classes? You can find a recording of one of Erin's donation-based soul soothing yoga classes on our engage page. Donations can be made via venmo @lovebodywisdom.
Stay well. Know that your contribution matters and that it is an act of love towards yourself and others.
